Tournament Players Visiting Local Veterans
On the first day of each tournament, player and coach representatives from the participating teams visited Monroe Community Hospital to spend some quality time with veteran residents of the facility. There were two visits on Saturday, July 25th during the Senior Tournament and two visits on Friday, July 31st during the Junior Tournament. They were all a great success. Good times were had by all. It is very heartwarming to see the respect and attention paid to these veterans by the young people who are our future. If you are interested in the the Facebook and MCH articles, here are the links:

Note: the magnetic flags were signed by the players to give to the veterans to put on their doorways to show everyone that the Legion players paid them a special visit. The players were given a baseball that all the veterans signed for the players to remember the event.

Final Week before Tournaments Start
Well, July is here and we are in the final stretch before it's tournament time. We are still in the hunt for volunteers and donors. There is still a lot to do and some of the long-term volunteers are starting to wear thin. Any help is desperately needed. If you are interested in helping, please go to our flyer below with links to our volunteer page as well as ticket sales. Please consider coming out to watch some wonderful baseball.

American Legion Championship Baseball is coming to Monroe County again in 2026. It will be even more special this year, because we will be having not one, but two tournaments.
First is the Senior tournament scheduled for July 25 through July 30, with a makeup up day on July 31.
Then comes the Junior tournament scheduled for July 31 through August 2 with a makeup day on August 3.
Both tournaments will be held at Penfield High School.
