Hello All,
Welcome to our 2026 American Legion Baseball Championship Tournament(s) Volunteer Page
American Legion Baseball has been around for over 100 years. It is two of the four core pillars of service, Americanism and our Youth. Our Mission Statement forf this year's Tournaments is:
“Developing Tomorrow’s Leaders from Today’s Youth”
American Legion Baseball, established in 1925, centers its mission on developing youth through four key goals: promoting Americanism, building character (citizenship and sportsmanship), enhancing physical fitness, and securing a strong future for the nation. The program aims to foster skills, leadership, and fun while emphasizing traditional values. It also mandates a 1925 Code of Sportsmanship focusing on discipline and fair play.
CODE OF SPORTSMANSHIP
"I will keep the rules,
Keep faith with my teammates,
Keep my temper,
Keep myself fit,
Keep a stout heart in defeat,
Keep pride under in victory,
Keep a sound soul, a clean mind, and a healthy body."
